Nationalpark Krka

The archipelago with 89 uninhabited islands, islets, and reefs

One of Croatia’s most beautiful protected areas with waterfalls, lakes, and islands

Krka National Park is located in southern Croatia. The Krka River, famous for its seven waterfalls, flows through the park. The Skradinski Buk waterfall is located in the south of the national park, near the traditional water mills.

The Krka River winds its way through a stunning landscape, falling 358 meters over seven large and small waterfalls, numerous channels and pools, and a watercourse to the village of Skradin and then on to the Sibenik Canal, where the Krka flows into the Adriatic Sea. Beautifully laid out paths lead visitors through this green oasis just a few kilometers from the karst coast.

In the dreamy village of Skradin, at the entrance to the national park, excursion boats regularly run to the landing stage just a few meters in front of the waterfalls.

A dreamlike excursion that provides cooling even on hot days thanks to the lush nature and crystal-clear mountain water all around.
